5 Ways To Use Vitamin E Oil in Your Skincare Routine

Gourmante Vitmain E oil for Skincare

Vitamin E is the name of a group of compounds that are required by the body for various functions - to help keep a strong immune system, and for important cellular and metabolic functions.

Vitamin E also has antioxidant properties that protect our cells from damage related to aging and environmental factors. We get the majority of our daily required vitamin E from foods like vegetable oils, nuts, seeds and leafy greens, but Vitamin E can also be found in popular skincare products used for its potential benefits for skin, hair and nails.

There are various ways you can use pure vitamin E oil in your skincare routine:

1. As a daily body moisturizer.

Vitamin E may increase the effectiveness of skin moisturizes. For people who do not have an allergic reaction to vitamin E, using it as a moisturizer may offer some benefits. Research suggests that well-moisturized skin may prevent itchiness, dry skin, and isless likely to scar.

Try mixing 1-2 drops of all-natural vitamin E oil into your daily body moisturizer. Use it morning & evening to deeply moisturize, protect & rejuvenate your skin. If you have not tested vitamin E on your skin before, “patch test” it on a small area of skin and wait a few hours to watch for any redness.

2. As a natural SPF.

When combined with vitamin C, vitamin E may act as a natural form of skin protection since it acts as an antioxidant to block cellular damage from the sun and environmental factors.

3. To repair damaged skin.

In addition to blocking further damage to the skin, some dermatologists suggest that topical vitamin E may help to improve the appearance and moisture of previously damaged skin.

4. To combat dry scalp.

Some research suggests that pure vitamin E oil may increase circulation to the scalp, which could help enhance the strength of hair follicles and hydrate brittle, dry hair.

Apply 1-2 drops of all-natural vitamin E oil to the scalp and massage gently to help nourish & strengthen your scalp and hair.

5. To combat splitting nails, cuticles and lips.

During the winter months, our nails and lips start to crack from excessive hand washing and colder temperatures. Massage some drops of pure vitamin E oil onto your nails, cuticles and lips daily to keep them moist and prevent cracking.
